Jesselton University College or JUC in short is a private institute for higher education located in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. Founded in 1988 as a college, it was later upgraded to the status of a University College in 2022. [1]. The institution is published under the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) of Malaysia [2].
The institution was founded as Sabah Institute of Management under the Sabah Education Ordinance, 1971 in 1988. It was later renamed to Jesselton College in 2013. In 2022, it was upgraded and renamed to Jesselton University College.
JUC is a partner for an exchange student program with Hang Seng University of Hong Kong [3] and City University of Paris [4], and is a member of The Association of Commonwealth Universities [5].
