Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery (HPB) is a sub-specialty of General Surgery which deals with the surgical care of complex problems related to the liver, pancreas and gallbladder, and in some cases the duodenum [1]. HPB surgeons may also train in liver transplantation.
