Comment: Unfortunately, this band is not notable outside of their Masked Singer incident, and that is not enough to demonstrate
WP:NBAND.

Comment: No independent notability from the event concerning Masked Singer Australia which is already covered in a section there.

Comment: Rejected numerous times, moved to main space anyway and then
deleted pursuant to a discussion. Resubmitted again after decline without improvements. Wikipedia is not a
WP:PACT and we do not need to keep entertaining
WP:TE.

American rock band
This page is about the band. For the geological period, see
Holocene.
Halocene is an American rock band from
Phoenix, Arizona.[2] They are primarily a
cover band but do have original songs and albums as well. Halocene has approximately 646,000 monthly listeners[3] on
Spotify. They have won the Rajj Talent Show for their original song "This is our war"[4]
History
The band toured in the United States, opening for bands like
Blink 182,
Fall Out Boy, and playing at the
Vans Warped Tour, Halocene gained popularity as
YouTube cover band,[5] uploading weekly and collecting over 100 million views. They are also one of the first bands to regularly livestream their performances on Twitch. Halocene was designated Twitch Ambassadors, a title given by
Twitch to creators that have used the platform in a positive way or to act as a role model to other users. As ambassadors, Halocene are featured more in the Twitch community and reach bigger audiences.[6] Halocene is an unsigned band. All music production, videos, sites and media are all created by the band.
HCU Tour
In Spring 2022 Halocene went on tour with
Lauren Babic and
Violet Orlandi in the west coast of the United States. In the summer Violet left the tour and
David Micheal Frank joined the tour.[7] In the winter Halocene toured Europe with out any other collaborators, but with
HalfLives opening for them.
Move to Nashville
In March Of 2023 Brad and Addie moved to
Nashville, TN. Joe did not move with them. [8]
In October 2019, the band claimed[12] that the TV program
Masked Singer had stolen "note for note, beat for beat" their arrangement of "
Bad Guy" by
Billie Eilish, which the Lion (
Kate Ceberano) sang during the third episode.[13][14][15] The rock trio had released the cover on their
YouTube channel, which also included original melodies from an unreleased original song.[14][15] The band threatened legal action and set up a
GoFundMe page, receiving support from their fans.[14][15] The band did have
Twitter conversation with
Kate Ceberano and her producers about Halocene fans harassing her. They declared "So sorry people are still harassing you 🙁 We will find a place on the YouTube video to make it more clear. Hopefully more people will see it. So sorry you got dragged into this, that was 100% not our intention."[16]
