Perez was born in New Jersey and raised in Florida. [1] In 2018, while in high school, she began releasing music with band Wendy Lane. [6] After attending Berklee College of Music, [11] she attracted attention with the 2021 release of her debut solo single “Sometimes (Backwood)".
