Where to get help
If you need help editing or submitting your draft, please ask us a question at the AfC Help Desk or get live help from experienced editors. These venues are only for help with editing and the submission process, not to get reviews.
If you need feedback on your draft, or if the review is taking a lot of time, you can try asking for help on the
talk page of a
relevant WikiProject. Some WikiProjects are more active than others so a speedy reply is not guaranteed.
To improve your odds of a faster review, tag your draft with relevant
WikiProject tags using the button below. This will let reviewers know a new draft has been submitted in their area of interest. For instance, if you wrote about a female astronomer, you would want to add the Biography, Astronomy, and Women scientists tags.

Szeged, born 19 January 1988) is a

Life Journey
In 2006, he graduated from the
Piarist High School in Szeged [

University of Szeged. In 2017, he defended his doctoral dissertation at the Doctoral School of Biology at the University of Szeged. He worked as a guest researcher at
Eurac with a scholarship in 2015.
Since 2010, he has been involved in
archaeogenetic research. From 2017, he has been a scientific collaborator at the Department of Genetics at the University of Szeged. Between 2019 and 2023, he served as the director of the Archaeogenetic Research Center at the
Institute of Hungarian Research. [
hu].[1]
In 2023, he established his first independent business, Geneo Services Ltd., where he serves as the chief executive officer.[2]
Achievements throughout his career
The title of his doctoral thesis is: "Archaeogenetic analysis of the origin and genetic relations of the Hungarian conquerors", which, according to the statistics of the University of Szeged Doctoral Repository, is the most downloaded doctoral dissertation of the university.[3]
His research focuses, on the one hand, on the genetic origins of
historical populations in the Carpathian Basin, presenting scientific results on the genetic composition of Hungarian conquerors,
Avars, and
Hun populations in the Carpathian Basin.
On the other hand, he examines the genetic origins of families with state-building and dynastic significance, such as the
Árpád dynasty and the
Hunyadi family. In the spring of 2021, he began genetic research with his research team on the skeletal remains unearthed at the Basilica of the Blessed Virgin Mary in
Székesfehérvár, Hungary. The research team investigated the relic of the skull found in the herma of Saint Ladislaus, confirming for the first time in the world the authenticity of a relic using archaeogenetic methods. The skull indeed belonged to
King Ladislaus I.[4]
As the founder and chief executive officer of Geneo Services Ltd., he applies innovative molecular biological technology to create products that contribute to the spread of health consciousness among individuals.
