This submission's references do not show that the subject
qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published,
reliable,
secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the
guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see
technical help and learn about
mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Where to get help
If you need help editing or submitting your draft, please ask us a question at the AfC Help Desk or get live help from experienced editors. These venues are only for help with editing and the submission process, not to get reviews.
If you need feedback on your draft, or if the review is taking a lot of time, you can try asking for help on the
talk page of a
relevant WikiProject. Some WikiProjects are more active than others so a speedy reply is not guaranteed.
To improve your odds of a faster review, tag your draft with relevant
WikiProject tags using the button below. This will let reviewers know a new draft has been submitted in their area of interest. For instance, if you wrote about a female astronomer, you would want to add the Biography, Astronomy, and Women scientists tags.
Please note that if the issues are not fixed, the draft will be declined again.
American chef
Curtis Lee Duffy is an American chef and restaurateur who has won awards for his fine-dining restaurants in Chicago.[1][2] He opened
Ever restaurant in July 2020,[3] during the pandemic. [4] Ever earned two Michelin stars in the 2021 Michelin Guide,[5] repeating in 2022[6] and 2023.
Duffy's previous restaurant,
Grace, held three Michelin stars[7]. From 2015-2018, Grace and
Alinea were the only Chicago restaurants with three Michelin stars.[8] In 2013, the Robb Report named Grace the best restaurant in the world[9].
In 2013, the Chicago Tribune published a multi-day profile on Duffy that documented how "kitchen became chef Curtis Duffy's escape from a turbulent childhood."[10]
The James Beard Foundation named Duffy Best Chef, Great Lakes in 2016.[11]
Duffy appeared in Netflix's "Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend"[12] in 2022[13], and as a judge on Season 21 of "Top Chef."[14]
A documentary "For Grace[15]," was made about Duffy and his journey to becoming a three-Michelin-starred chef. It streamed on Netflix[16] starting in 2016. In 2023, Season 2, episode 7 of "The Bear" was filmed inside Ever[17]. Duffy made and plated the dishes that appear in the episode.[18]
In 2022, Duffy opened After lounge, next door to Ever. In 2023, Esquire named it one of the Best Bars in America.[19]
Duffy grew up in Colorado and Johnstown, Ohio.[20] Duffy was inducted into the Disciples d’Escoffier in 2016.[21][22]
