Chortolirion (Gk. 'chortos' = 'pasture', 'lirion' ='lily') is a
genus of perennial plants in the
familyAsphodelaceae, subfamily
Asphodeloideae,[3] first described as a genus in 1908. It is native to Southern
Africa.[1][4][5]
