I know I've been randomly adding games, but I'd like to know, are there any key words in game reviews that signal a game is open world? I know there are the terms open world and free roam, but are there any out there besides those? ECW28 ( talk) 09:18, 1 April 2015 (UTC)
Does anyone else think that The Darkness belongs in the open world category? Let me know ECW28 ( talk) 20:26, 31 May 2015 (UTC)
This game still doesn't have a page dedicated to it. I've got no idea how to create one, so if anyone else would like to, please don't Dohvahkiin ( talk) 11:38, 11 July 2015 (UTC)
ELEX doesn't have a page dedicated to it yet. Like I've said in my previous comment, I've got no idea how to make one, so I just thought I'd post this and let people know and if someone wants to make one, they can Dohvahkiin ( talk) 12:51, 8 October 2015 (UTC)
I've been thinking about this for a while, but is there a minimum number of sources needed in order to add a game into this category. I'm trying to weed out the games that are borderline, from the true open world games (Rise of the Tomb Raider for instance has just one reviewer out of many calling it an open world). If there isn't a minimum number, I'd like to suggest that we discuss this. Dohvahkiin ( talk) 15:38, 21 April 2016 (UTC)
I've noticed that the Open-world video games category is used as a catch-all inclusive of Sandbox video games, with the category page for the latter redirecting here. As a matter of curiosity, I was wondering about the reason for the lack of distinction between the two. Is it a matter of convenience? Is it something to the ends of preventing conflicts regarding the classification? Fact Scanner ( talk) 09:11, 8 March 2021 (UTC)
