This category presently appears to be overpopulated with a random and uncomprehensive assortment of rivers, mountains, lakes, cities, towns, unincorporated communities, etc., all of which have their own categories, most of which are subcategories of this category. Further, most of these appear to be cross-listed in both this category and their respective subcategories. Does anybody have a justification for this state of affairs? Malepheasant, I concur, but under the Geography of West Virginia category, I noticed that several subcategories were absent including: Census-designated places in West Virginia, Cities in West Virginia, West Virginia counties, Towns in West Virginia, Unincorporated communities in West Virginia, and Villages in West Virginia. I feel these do fall under the guidelines as subcategories under the category of Geography of West Virginia. -- Jhohenzollern 20:35, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
I was able to remove must of the articles (mostly unincorporated communities) from this category. The remaining articles either didn't have another geography category or are major enough to be listed under this designation. -- Caponer 03:33, 18 December 2005 (UTC)
