These are pictures that are considered featured pictures on the English Wikipedia. There is an equivalent on Commons, but Commons and English WP have different (albeit overlapping) editorial communities, so a picture could be considered featured on one and not the other. -- RL0919 ( talk) 05:05, 31 December 2009 (UTC) reply
