Calvin Potter (born November 3, 1945) is a retired American teacher and Democratic politician from Sheboygan County, Wisconsin. He served 8 years in the Wisconsin Senate (1991–1999) and 16 years in the State Assembly (1975–1991). [1]
Potter was born and raised in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. He graduated from Sheboygan North High School and attended the University of Wisconsin-Sheboygan, before earning his bachelor's degree from Lakeland College in 1968. [2]
Potter was elected to the Assembly in 1974. Later, he was a member of the Senate. Previously, he had chaired the Sheboygan County Democratic Party.
