Burretiokentia is a genus of palms ( Arecaceae) endemic to New Caledonia containing five species. The relationships between Burretiokentia and some other genera of the tribe Basseliniinae including Physokentia and the New Caledonia endemic Cyphophoenix are not clear. [1]
