Boy from the Never Never is a 1949 Australia radio feature about soil erosion by D'arcy Niland.
The broadcast was attacked in Federal Parliament for being blasphemous. [1] It was defenced b the ABC and Arthur Calwell, the relevant minister. [2]
The Adelaide News called it " a remarkable piece of work... The play was too disturbing to be called entertainment, but entertainment was not its mission. I found the build-up a little drawn out, but the message itself packed a terrific punch, was well presented and' exceedingly well written." [3]
