Barbara Love Adrian (July 25, 1931 – February 2, 2014) was an American artist. [1]

Life

Adrian was born in New York City, the daughter of Allen Isaac Adrian (born Adrachinsky) and Mildred Brown. Her grandparents parents were Jewish emigrants from the Russian Empire. [2] She graduated from Hunter College, and Columbia University. [3] From 1968 to 2011, she taught at the Art Students League of New York. [4]

In 1972, Adrian married Franklin Creighton Tramutola. [3]
