Bánov ( Hungarian: Bánkeszi) is a municipality and village in the Nové Zámky District in the Nitra Region of south-west Slovakia.
In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1113.
The village lies at an elevation of 125 metres (410 ft) and covers an area of 19.763 km2 (7.631 mi2). It has a population of about 3697 people.
The population is about 98% Slovak.
