[1] The film centres on Karine ( Laurence Leboeuf) and Estelle ( Fanny Mallette), two sisters on a trip to Mexico to participate in a Day of the Dead ritual honoring and mourning the recent suicide of their sister Liliane (Eugénie Beaudry).
