Applied labor economist
Andrea Weber is an applied
labor economist and currently a professor at the
Central European University .

Journal of Public Economics .

She is a research fellow at the Institute of Labor Economics

CEPR .

Career and education
She obtained her PhD from the
Vienna University of Technology and an MA in Mathematics from the same university. Before joining the
CEU , she was a professor at
Vienna University of Economics and Business and the
University of Mannheim and was a visiting assistant professor at
University of California, Berkeley .

In 2016 she became a member of the
German Academy of Sciences Leopoldina .
