The length of the shell varies between 2 mm and 5 mm.
(Described as Rissoa crenulata) The imperforate shell is solid. It is opaque, yellowish white, tinted and indistinctly bifasciate with chestnut. The
spire is mucronate. It is longitudinally broadly ribbed and strongly spirally lirate, the intersections forming strong rounded tubercles. The shell contains 6-7 convex
whorls. The suture is widely channeled. The
aperture is expanded, brownish red and sulcate within, subcanaliculate below. The outer
lip is crenulately varicose exteriorly. The
columella is tuberculated anteriorly. [3]
