Ajagun Olusegun Peter (born on March 14 1980) [1]is a Nigerian forensic accountant and financial crime investigator and the Director General of the Centre for Democratic Innovation, CDI, Abuja, Nigeria. [2] [3] [4] [5] He is an academic, researcher and author from Oka-Akoko in Ondo State, Southwest Nigeria. [6] [7] He is a lecturer in the Faculty of Management Sciences, Department of Accounting and Finance at Lagos State University.
Ajagun Olusegun attended Army Children High School in Epe, Lagos State. He obtained a B.Sc. in Accounting and Finance from Lagos State University in 2007. He later earned an M.Sc. in Business Administration from the same university in 2011 and proceeded to Babcock University, Ilishan, Remo, Ogun State, where he obtained a Ph.D. in Forensic Accounting and Taxation in 2021.
Ajagun is a lecturer at the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Management Sciences, Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos. In June, 2024, he was appointed as the Director-General of Centre for Democratic Innovation, CDI by the National Youth Alliance, NYA. [8]
