"'Ai Naru Hō e'" (アイナルホウエ, "To Where Love Rings") is the fourth physical solo single by Japanese singer-songwriter Jin Akanishi, released on October 2, 2013. [1]
The song was announced on August 31, 2013, at the Tokyo Girls Collection fashion show, which was held that same month at the Saitama Super Arena. [1] [2] In November was released his second studio album #JustJin.
The single was released in two different editions, the standard or regular edition, which opposite of the limited edition's only b-side song "Forever" it additionally includes the song "One Last Time". [2] There two different limited editions; the edition A includes a DVD featuring the title track’s music video as well as its making-of video, [2] while edition B features a special photo book. [2]
Akanishi commented about the title track how it's a "support song" that sings "to come in the direction where love sounds". [2]
The music video was directed by Takeshi Maruyama, and it shows people of different nationalities from babies to grandparents. [3] [4]
The single was released on October 2, 2013 by Warner Music Japan, and in the first week it debuted at number three on Oricon weekly singles chart, selling 42,263 copies. [5] It stayed on the charts for six weeks. [6] It has peaked at number four on the Billboards Japan Hot 100, [7] and at number two on the Hot Singles Sales chart. [8] It also peaked at number thirteen on Hot Top Airplay, [9] and number twenty-two on Adult Contemporary Airplay. [10]
