Adesmia is a genus of
flowering plants in the
legume family,
Fabaceae . It was recently assigned to the informal
monophyletic Adesmia clade within the
Dalbergieae .

The species range across southern South America, from Peru and southeastern Brazil to Argentina and Chile.
