3C 305, also known as IC 1065, is a lenticular galaxy located in the constellation Draco. [3] [1] [2] It has an active galactic nucleus and is classified both a Seyfert 2 and radio galaxy [1] [2] The galaxy was discovered by American astronomer Lewis Swift when he came upon it on April 7th, 1888. [4]
