There will be 12 teams that will compete in the championship.
Competition system
The mode of dispute would be maintained, as in previous seasons, of
round-robin matches, that is, two rounds made up of 11 rounds each with reciprocal locality. The team that accumulates the most points at the end of the 22 dates will be declared champion.[1]
In case of parity of points between two contenders, the title is defined in an extra match. If there are more than two in dispute, it is resolved according to the following parameters:[citation needed]
Fulgencio Yegros (Ñemby); 1° de Marzo (Fernando de la Mora); Sportivo Iteño (Itá); Capitán Figari (Lambaré); Pilcomayo y Humaitá (Mariano Roque Alonso)

Relegation
The average points of a club is the quotient obtained by dividing its accumulated score in the last three seasons in the division, by the number of games it has played during said period. This determines, at the end of each season, the team that will be deprogrammed for one year.
