The 2023–24 season is the 144th season of competitive football by Heart of Midlothian. It is the club's fourth season of play back in the top tier of Scottish football since 2020, having been promoted from the Scottish Championship at the end of the previous season, ^[1] having played just one season in the Scottish Championship. The club had been relegated from the Premiership at the end of the 2019–20 season.

They will also compete in the Europa League, Scottish League Cup and the Scottish Cup.

Hearts kits are manufactured by Umbro for the 2024–25 season, ^[7] entering the final year of their contract with the club. ^[8] Stellar Omada, became the clubs main sponsor on a three year deal, replacing MND Scotland. ^[9] Omada previously sponsored the club's away kit. ^[10]

International Selection

Over the course of the season a number of the Hearts squad were called up on international duty. Craig Gordon, ^[11] Zander Clark ^[11] and Lawrence Shankland was called up to represent Scotland, ^[12] whilst Cameron Devlin ^[13] and Kye Rowles were selected to represent Australia. ^[14]

Kenneth Vargas would also be included in Costa Rica's provisional squad ahead of the 2024 Copa América. ^[15]

Toby Sibbick would continue to feature for Uganda after receiving his first call up to the senior squad in March 2024. ^[16]
