American college football season
The 1956 LSU Tigers football team was an
American football team that represented
Louisiana State University (LSU) as a member of the
Southeastern Conference (SEC) during the
1956 college football season. In their second year under head coach
Paul Dietzel, the Tigers complied an overall record of 3–7, with a conference record of 1–5, and finished ninth in the SEC.
