American college football season
The 1938 Murray State Thoroughbreds football team represented Murray State Teachers College (now known as
Murray State University) as a member the
Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association (SIAA) during the
1938 college football season. Led by seventh-year head coach
Roy Stewart, the Thoroughbreds compiled an overall record of 6–2–1, with a mark of 4–1 in conference play.
